How can recipients know who the message came from?

In the settings area, there is a field called Logo.  By default the sender ID, or logo, is ClearSMS. 

If you send a message and the recipient's phone displays this logo, then the network carrier for that country supports sender ID's.  This in turn means that you can request your own custom logo.  Usually, this takes about 24 hours.  

Note, that some mobile operators support this feature, while others may not.
